SPECT-CT is used for high precise diagnosis and positioning of the image in our tumor treatment center. Traditionally, when the tumor is discovered, 85% of the patients are at the advanced period, with metastatic lesions throughout the body except the primary tumor lesions.
SPECT-CT can fuse CT’s cross-section image, whole body image and plane image with the functional image of SPECT, so the location of the tumor is precisely displayed on 3-D anatomical images. The surgeons get the precise functional image required for clinic. The surgeons can precisely position the location, size, shape……of both the primary lesions and metastatic lesions, providing a prerequisite for a personalized treatment. |
